A Talented Young Musician
Dax is a 14-year-old St. John native. He's been a member of the Love City Pan Dragons since 2017 and has been performing solo gigs including weddings and sunset cocktail hours since early 2019. He takes his craft seriously, and will bring Caribbean-style music to your event with the utmost professionalism. Dax will also collaborate with other performers like St. John's talented Albion Sewer.

"KEEPING PAN ALIVE" - ALBION SEWER, ST. JOHN STEEL PANNIST
I was asked to play a duet with Dax for an upcoming wedding. He would play the steel pan and I would play the ukulele, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Hawaiian style, a song he wasn’t familiar with.
Dax came by the practice studio so we could prepare. Upon meeting Dax, I was immediately impressed as he had his own pan, sticks, and stand. “This kid was out for business!”
I had not heard him play before and asked him to play for me. His technique, timing, and pan skills immediately impressed me. I was even more impressed when he grabbed a pad and began to
write music notes and chords for the song to practice at home! I said to myself, “Yes man, this kid’s got a future!”
We practiced together several times over the coming weeks and on performance day Dax came through with flying colors. “He nailed it!”
I highly recommend Dax to play for your special event. I believe you will be impressed and I know he will demonstrate his love for the steel pan.
